The App is primarily offline-first. All personal tracking data (mood, journal entries, sadhana logs, etc.) is stored locally on your device and data will be synced to cloud backup, sync, or AI-powered features if enabled / requested, or if you join a satsang (group practice). A summary of your sadhana data is stored for analytics and insights automatically.

2. Who Can Use the App

• •Core features (tracking, journaling, statistics) are available to users 13 years and older.
• •AI-powered features that rely on Google Gemini (or similar) APIs are restricted to users 18 years and older, in compliance with Google's terms. We require age confirmation before enabling these features.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (health records, government IDs, etc.).

4. How We Use Your Data

1. Provide core functionality – log sadhanas, moods, involvement, and display progress.
2. Optional Cloud Sync – let you back-up and restore data across devices (encrypted in transit via HTTPS).
3. Personalise your experience – your profile and the answers you gave at the start shape what the app shows you.
4. Personal Insights – show you charts and patterns built from your own tracking.
5. AI Summaries – generate AI-based reflections with your consent, only when you enable AI features.
6. Support & Communication – respond to support emails or in-app feedback.
7. Improve the App – anonymous analytics help us understand which features are most helpful.

5. AI Services & Age Verification

If you enable AI features, certain data (e.g., journal text, mood ratings) may be sent to Google Gemini API for processing. Google may retain and use this content to improve its models, but does not receive information that directly identifies you.

• •Age 18+ requirement: We ask for your date of birth or a simple age confirmation checkbox to comply with Google's 18+ policy.
• •If you are under 18, AI features remain disabled and no data is sent to Google.
• •Age Misrepresentation: If a user falsely claims to be 18+ to access AI features, they are fully responsible for any legal or policy violations. We are not liable for such misuse.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Data is shared only in these limited cases:

1. Service providers – Supabase for sign-in and database hosting, and Google/Firebase for analytics and AI features. They act under our instructions and follow strict security measures.
2. Legal requirements – If obliged by law or lawful request (rare and documented).

Where your data lives: our providers run on servers that may sit outside your own country, so data stored with them may be processed abroad. We choose providers that commit to recognised safeguards for such transfers, and the same protections in this policy apply wherever your data is held.

7. Security

• •In transit: All communication with our servers uses industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• •At rest: Local data resides in the App's sandboxed storage.
• •Backups you create can be encrypted (recommended) or unencrypted, at your choice.
• •Devices that are rooted or jail-broken or compromised - we cannot guarantee security on modified devices.

8. Backups & External Sharing

You can manually create backups of your data. These can be shared, stored, or deleted by you. If you clear your app data or uninstall the app without backup, your data will be lost.

You are responsible for safeguarding these files once exported. Be careful while deleting the app's data since it erases all the locally stored data!

9. Your Controls & Rights

• •View / Edit: All local data can be viewed or edited in-app.
• •Delete: Delete entries individually or wipe all local data via settings. You may also request deletion of any cloud-stored profile or stats (email us).
• •Opt-in / Opt-out: Enable or disable cloud sync, AI features, and anonymous usage data at any time. Usage data has its own switch in Settings, under your profile.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.
